Theme Show Wizard – Andy Green

In his brand new lecture, Andy Green will take you into the world of theme park shows and creative prop building. Through his work over the past 10 years in creating bespoke theme shows, Andy will discuss his creative process for writing exciting, interactive family shows for theme parks and visitor attractions. 

Andy will demonstrate numerous props and ideas, protoypes and custom gimmicks along the way and discuss how you can make them at home.

He will discuss the writing process, the development of props, building the show and the technology behind running a solo performance using, sound, lights and special effects to create a unique product that exceeds client expectations.

Andy also explores his process for approaching clients, presenting products and generating business.

Andy takes inspiration from the ‘Maker Movement’ and the likes of Mario The Maker Magician and Jay Mattioli in building unique homegrown props to create exciting performances. His work over the last 10 years in character acting and theatre shows along with his focus (post Covid) into family theme shows has enable him to develop a unique collection of skills and performance experience that can be utilised in any type of show.
